Alha Airport is the most important private Airport Handler in Italy headquartered in Milano Malpensa intercontinental airport's cargo city.

Thanks to years of experience and solid know how, the company handles freight for the most important national and international carriers.

Alha Airport is the main cargo handler in Milan, the biggest in Italy. The company operates in Milan MXP International Airport since 1997 and at the moment handles 70% of the whole freight in the Airport (In 2007 more than 330.000 tonns of freight have been handled), with 300 persons of staff.

Services

A.L.H.A. SpA, under a licensing contract drawn up with the Airport Authority "SEA", sub-contracted the Cargo Handling activities of Malpensa airport. ALL air freight can be handled in accordance with IATA international rules.

Alha Airport S.p.a. operates in MXP Cargo City, with a total of 20.000 sqm of indoor facilities and 25.000 sqm of external areas. The warehouse is provided with modern and efficient structures and equipment, which allow the handling of every kind of cargo.

Investments

In 2008 Alha Airport has implemented MACS, Mail and Cargo System, a new specific IT System for mail and cargo handling which will be able to communicate with almost all the systems of any company operating in the field of cargo (Carriers, agents, forwarders, etc.).
