Alha group is the Italian Leader in the field of Air Cargo Handling and Trucking Services:
the acrivities began in the ‘60, when Mr. Gianpaolo Ceruti founded the first trucking company in Italy for the transportation of air freight; since the foundation of the Mother Company A.L.H.A. - Air Lines Handling Agent, in 1969, Air Freight has been representing the core business of the activity.
Some History…
During the 60s the transportation of cargo by air was about to start its growth in Italy: in these years the business started growing all over the country and the Italian market of air cargo began its expansion.
Alha has being growing - as trucking provider - together with the development of air cargo business all over the years up to the late 90s. In 1997 the company has made a huge step in its and expansion starting Cargo Handling Activities in Milan Malpensa with a brand new company, Alha Airport - the handling division of Alha group.
Starting as from 2000, after the airport was set as main international airport for Northern Italy, other than the national carrier’s hub, MXP’s cargo capacity grew like never before; shortly Malpensa became the major Cargo Hub in Italy, and Alha Airport (handling 75% of the total freight in MXP) soon became the biggest Italian cargo handling company.

A network of 12 handling warehouses strategically positioned in order to cover the main places in the Italian market.
Domestic trucking services, with a complete network of scheduled and on-request routes.
International Road Feeder Services, linking Italy to all the major cargo hubs in Europe.
