Alha Cargo Terminal in Milan Malpensa gets the first TAPA TACSS Level 1 certification in the EMEA Region
Alha Cargo Terminal in Milan Malpensa has been Certified by TAPA as the first Level 1 TACSS Air Cargo Handling Agent in the EMEA Region.
This top-level certification sets the highest internationally recognized security standards and testifies Alha commitment to develop its cargo terminal in Milan Malpensa as a major gateway for High Value assets.
Alha Terminal in Milan has been acknowledged as the most secure Cargo Terminal in Europe, Middle East and Africa; the company, that already handles significant tonnages of Consumer Electronic goods and Fashion products, is now expecting a further boost in the volumes of High Value cargo both inbound and outbound.
Alha Group Executive Vice President, Mr. Lorenzo Schettini Gherardini:
“We are proud to say that we have put all our efforts in this accomplishment, as TAPA has become a worldwide benchmark for security handling guidelines and practices, and we consider the Level 1 TACSS1 certification as a strategic milestone in our development plan.
We also consider our association to TAPA as an opportunity for growth and improvement. Since we have decided to apply for such an important certification 10 months ago, our organisation has been experiencing a significant assessment process and a number of improvements have been implemented: all our procedures have been analysed by the most qualified auditors worldwide and our entire organisation has been committed with enhancements and fine-tuning actions.
This achievement represents the official designation of Milan Malpensa as a Hub for High Value assets in Southern Europe.”
