IATA: air cargo in Europe grew by +5.5% in February 2014

In February, the positive trend of world air cargo is confirmed. According to data released by IATA, in the second month of the year there was a 2.9% increase in demand compared to the same month of 2013. In the first two months of the year, growth was 3.6% - confirming the recovery in air cargo transport already started at the end of last year - a percentage that represents a step forward compared to the global figure for 2013 (+1.4%). 
The greatest growth in cargo has affected the companies of the Middle East and Europe which, compared to the same month of 2013, saw an increase of 11.9% and 5.5% respectively (slightly lower than the January figure, plus 5.8%).
